death.

It doesn't matter what you have or what you don't. It doesn't matter who you are and who you want to be. It doesn't matter what might happen to me now because of my actions. When someone in your life, someone you loved, was going to die because of you, wouldn't you do anything to stop it?

love never fails.

So let's think back on all that has happened this year. Not on a list here. Just be honest with yourself. You see all the major ones first. Then the little things that made you smile, and the ones that made you sad. But always remind yourself of the ten good things there are for the bad ones. But that also works in reverse. It takes no more time to see the good side of life than to see the bad. So take your time to make yourself happy rather than be bitter about all that's happened. It may be a little hard to see any good, but it's always there if you look.

a sudden relization.

There are moments in your life that make you and sets the course of who you're going to be. sometimes they're little, subtle moments. Sometimes, they're big moments you never saw coming. No one asks for their life to change, but it does. Its what you do afterwards that counts. Thats when you find out who you are.

I didn't believe in miracles, till I met you.

all you have to do is keep going.
keep fighting.
keep breathing.
keep moving forward.
never give up.
and never show them when you want to.
stand tall.
hit hard.
be strong.
prove to them that your worth it.
...and maybe, you might just make it after all.

win or lose, the sun will shine tommorrow.

It's not about getting a scholarship, getting drafted, or making Sports Center. It's a deep need in us that comes from the heart. We need to practice, play, to lift, to hustle, to sweat, to compete. We do it all for our teammates. We don't lift weights with a future Olympic wrestler; we lift with a future doctor. We don't run with a future Wimbledon champion; we run with a future CEO. It's a bigger part of us than our friends and family can understand. Sometimes we play for 200,000 fans, sometimes for 25. But we still play hard. You cheer for us because you know us. You know more than just our names. Like all of you, we are still students first. We don't sign autographs for money. But we do sign college applications, SAT exams, and student body petitions. When we miss a kick, or strike out, we don't let down an entire state. We only let down our teammates, coaches, and fans. But the hurt in our hearts is the same. We train hard. Lift, throw, run, kick, shoot, dribble, swim, and lift some more, and in the morning we go to class. Still the next day in class we are nothing more than students. It's about pride; in ourselves, in our school. It's about our love and passion for the game. And when it's all over; when we walk off that court or field for the last time, our hearts crumble. Those tears are real. But deep down inside, we are very proud of ourselves. We will forever be what few can call ourselves.. high school athletes

kindly unspoken.

You know when your singing along with a song, and you know all the words because you really love it. And then someone talks, or a door closes and you cant hear the music anymore, but you keep singing anyways, Then when you can hear it again your still perfectly intune with it. Yah well thats what love is.
